Central Park - Denver Apartments
Central Park Apartments — Denver's Modern Neighborhood
Central Park (formerly Stapleton) is Denver's largest master-planned community — and it's designed for people who want suburban space and family-friendly amenities without actually leaving the city. Built on the former Stapleton International Airport site, this neighborhood has wide boulevards, excellent parks, top-rated schools, and a town center that feels like a small city within Denver. If you're looking for space, community, and a neighborhood that was built with families in mind, Central Park delivers.
I'm Holly, and I recommend Central Park to clients who need more space than central Denver neighborhoods can offer — especially families, remote workers, and anyone relocating from a suburban setting. My apartment locating service is complimentary for renters. Start your Apartment Wishlist and I'll show you Central Park's best options.
What Makes Central Park Different
Central Park was designed from scratch, which means everything works together: the parks connect to trail systems, the retail centers are walkable from residential areas, and the community spaces were planned rather than afterthoughts. It's the opposite of organic urban development — and for many people, that's exactly the appeal.
The neighborhood includes over 50 parks, the Stapleton Town Center (with shops, restaurants, and a movie theater), and direct access to the Sand Creek Regional Greenway trail system. It's also home to some of Denver's highest-rated public schools, making it a magnet for families.

Getting Around from Central Park
Central Park is car-dependent for most daily needs, but it has excellent highway access (I-70 and I-270) and the A-Line commuter rail connects to Union Station and Denver International Airport. The commute to downtown is about 20–25 minutes by car or 30 minutes by train.
Holly's Central Park Tips
Location within Central Park matters. The neighborhood is large — buildings near the Town Center have the best walkability, while those further east are quieter but more car-dependent.
Ask about the trail system. Central Park's trail network connects to the citywide system. If you bike or run, proximity to trail access adds enormous lifestyle value.
Visit the Town Center. It'll give you the best sense of the community vibe and what daily life looks like here.
